G92 South Immigration Conference at Samford University Feb. 23 (Birmingham)

Alabama HB56 has placed immigration at center stage in our state. Students and faculty at Samford University hope to raise the level of dialogue on this contentious issue by examining the scriptural and theological foundations for a Christian response to immigration. We're excited to launch the G92 South Immigration Conference, to be held February 23, 2012, on our campus in Birmingham, Alabama. We seek to promote a high level of conversation about immigration in a way that honors the example of Jesus Christ and the written Word of God. The day will feature several plenary sessions for students, pastors and the public, including an evening keynote by Dr. Richard Land, President of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission.
