Week of Student Action Against HB56 Jan 30-Feb 3

ALABAMA STUDENTS Take a Stand On HB56 & Immigration Reform

Week of Action lead by Alabama College Students calling for justice in Alabama

Birmingham, AL — On January 30- Feb 3, students from campuses across Alabama will participate in a series of on campus events and demonstrations in Birmingham. This week of action is not the only  week we will be standing against this unjust law, if anything its the start of a campaign for Alabama students to take up the plight of the repressed.

Students will converge on UAB and unite under the banner of comprehensive immigration reform. We are against HB56 and feel it is unjust and overreaching. This new state law breaks up families and misleads the public, scapegoating immigrants as the reason for state problems.
